Prayer

2 John 1

Great God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we thank You for Your church.  Your truth, love, and grace will be with us forever.  Help us to walk in obedience to that way of faith and life that we have heard from the beginning.  Grant us discernment.  There are those who would teach in Your church who do not abide in the truth of Christ.  Bless us with the courage to humbly and graciously oppose their entry into the office or exercise of a teaching ministry, for they would only dismantle what others have lovingly labored to build.
