Opportunities for Fellowship & Growth

Tuesday Women’s Study

There are opportunities for women to meet together every week for study, prayer, and fellowship. These classes meet Tuesday mornings (10:00 a.m. at EPC) and Tuesday evenings (6:30 p.m. online), and are facilitated by Candy Magee, who has been involved in this ministry since the beginning of Exeter Presbyterian in 1994. Each September a new section of the Bible or a book of general discipleship interest is studied and continues through the month of June. Participants are encouraged to read the specified chapter and come prepared to ask questions and join in the discussion. All women of EPC and their friends and neighbors are invited to attend. Contact Candy Magee (603-772-9442) for more details.

Bible Survey Class

Pastor Magee facilitates a Bible Class which meets Wednesdays at 3:00pm – 4:00pm from September through May at the church. We study the entire Bible over a number of years. Join at any point in the cycle and stay for as long as you would like. Everyone is welcome. Contact Pastor Magee (603-772-7479) for more details.

Theology Class

Pastor Magee leads a discussion class from 4:00pm – 5:00pm every Wednesday afternoon at the church during the months of September through May. The general topic of the class is theology, literally “the study of God.” Unlike the Bible Survey Class which works its way through the various sections of the Bible from beginning to end, the Theology Class considers the question, “What does the whole Bible teach us about a given topic?” Contact Pastor Magee (603-772-7479) for more details.

Church Family Meal

We have a Family Meal once a month from September through June which usually takes place on the first Sunday of the month after the morning worship service. These meals are a good time of fellowship and help us get to know each other; everyone is welcome to stay after the service and join us!

Grief Support

Have you suffered the death of a loved one? Would you find it helpful to walk this painful road with others who have experienced loss? Every Wednesday night at 6:30PM (online) we offer GriefShare which is a Bible-based grief recovery program. It would be a privilege for us to help you recover. More information regarding this group can be directed to Candy Magee who facilitates the sessions. Her contact information is candymagee@gmail.com or 603-772-9442.

Adult Education Enrichment Program

For many years Pastor Magee has taught Bible as Literature classes as part of the Adult Education Enrichment Program in Exeter. In the fall he presents a topic from the Old Testament, and in the spring he leads a New Testament class. These are great opportunities for the exploration of biblical faith. All participants are welcomed and valued. These studies are offered at 7PM Tuesday evenings and 9:15AM Wednesday mornings, both held at EPC.
